Dancing in the Fountain
This cake was definitely our biggest challenge yet, but one that we thoroughly enjoyed! The cake was to celebrate my friend Karen McCann's book, called Dancing in the Fountain. Initially we were going to just make the book cover, but when she sent us more pictures of the fountain where the cover was shot, we both agreed that we really wanted to make the whole fountain! EVERYTHING is edible, including the shoes and the flower pot. The cake is Devil's Food Chocolate with Chocolate Buttercream Filling and Coconut Marshmallow Fondant. It was for 30 people. €200
Here'a a link to Karen's book:

Bonsai!
My friend Nancy requested a small cake for her mom's birthday. I just made some curtains for her mom earlier this year and knew she loves Japanese themes and Bonsai trees, so this was the result!
The bottom layer is Devil's Food Chocolate with Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosting, while the top layer is Vanilla Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting. Red Marshmallow Fondant covers the cake, with black fondant ribbon around the base of each layer.
This cake was for 10 people.
€45
